Road transfers
Door to door from Johannesburg, Pretoria, Sun City and Pilanesberg
Several operators run road transfers into Madikwe, from OR Tambo and Lanseria airports, from Johannesburg and Pretoria, and from Sun City and Pilanesberg.
Transfers are generally quoted per vehicle for one to three passengers, with a larger minibus (and trailer) for parties of four to eight. Most operators set a minimum of two passengers, and some add an after-hours surcharge for pick-ups between 18h00 and 06h00.
Which gate your transfer uses depends on your lodge — Molatedi Gate for the eastern lodges, Tau and Wonderboom for the west — so give the operator your lodge name when you book.
